⚽️ Welcome to Mersey Soccer Club’s FALL 2026 Travel Recreational League!
We participate in the Jack London Youth Soccer League and play games against other recreational teams from Alameda, Berkeley, El Cerrito, Emeryville, Oakland, Piedmont, & Richmond.
Dates
- FALL program runs approximately Aug 10 to mid-Nov
- End of Season Jack London League Tournament: 2nd or 3rd weekend in Nov
Program Format
- Playing Format: 9v9 (ages 10-11) | 11v11 (ages 12+)
- Depending on the playing format, roster size will range from 12-18 players per team
- 4 Home games on nearby Albany-Berkeley fields
- 4 Away games, local travel within a 12-mile radius, typically Alameda, Oakland, Piedmont, Richmond
- All players guaranteed 50% play-time
- Professional, licensed coach (email [email protected] if you are an experienced volunteer coach and would like to coach your child’s team)
Location & Times
- Practice Time: 4-5:30pm or 5:30-7pm on Mon/Wed, Tue/Thu, Tue/Fri, or Wed/Fri
- Players can share availability during registration
- Location for HOME games and practice: Tom Bates Sports Complex | King Track & Field | San Pablo Park | Ohlone Park
- Location for AWAY games: Alameda, Oakland, Piedmont, Richmond
- Saturday or Sunday games
Uniforms
A Mersey uniform is mandatory. Once you register, there will be instructions for ordering your player's uniform.
